Replication is the commercial process for pressing discs in quantities above 500 units. Lead time 8-10 working days
Replication involves the creation of a glass master from a supplied master from which a stamper is made containing the physical information pressed on to manufactured discs. Replicated discs are of a higher quality than duplicated / burned CDRs or DVDRs as the data is moulded into the disc polycarbonate material.
Disc Formats:
• CD Audio
• CD ROM
• Mini CD 80mm
• DVD5
• DVD9
• DVD 10
• Blu-Ray
Printing options:
All replicated discs are automatically printed via silkscreen or an offset (CMYK) process and it is important that artwork for disc surface print is prepared correctly, in accordance with Implant Media’s disc specifications.
• Offset Print: For CMYK / Full Colour applications
• Silkscreen: For Spot / Pantone Colour application
Manufacturing Lead Time
Implant Media offers, as a standard, an 7-10 working day turnaround for all replicated disc requirements (including booklet printing and packing). Certain print applications (such as Tray Packs) require longer and need to be confirmed at time of placing order.
Faster Lead times can always be accomodated but need comfirmation in advance or upon placement of order.
